‘Honey I’m Home’, Home of the glitz and the glam, where some of your favourite stars and well-known celebrities are made. Besides from the high-rise apartments and the hidden hills of Calabasas, LA is known for its iconic theme parks, beautiful beaches, and its efforts in world entertainment.
DAY 1: LET’S WONDER WHERE THE WIFI IS WEAK
Make sure you’re wearing something cool and comfortable for our 3-hour Hike to the Hollywood sign! On this hike, you’ll be able to see the beautiful hot spots from up top! When you reach the top, make sure to take a picture of the iconic Hollywood sign iconic walk of fame! If you don’t want to join us on the Hollywood sign hike, we recommend exploring the beautiful the Griffith observatory, which is a well-known planetarium. While your there, why don’t you take a stroll In Griffith park where you can walk at your own pace and feel at home. (Runyun Canon Park is also a popular hiking spot if you want to continue hiking throughout the trip duration)
DAY 2: YOURISM EATS EXPERIENCE
Okay, so I’m guessing you’ve heard all about the iconic food hot spots in the USA. Well, today, Yourism Eats will be taking over! If you choose to join us, you’ll be hitting the best food markets and trendy foods from the little Venice, Culver City/Palms, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Koreatown.
DAY 3: ENJOY YOUR OWN COMPANY
Today, you’ll be able to explore the LA city by yourself. Yourism recommends checking out the Santa Monica pier, which is by the sandy shores of Santa Monica beach. You can also visit Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard, where you can see the iconic walk of fame. Rodeo Drive is a great spot for all the shopaholics who visit boutique stores.
DAY 4: NO ONE IS TOO OLD FOR FAIRYTALES
We couldn’t let you visit LA without visiting one of the biggest parks in America! For all you Disney fans out there, today is all about you. We’ll be making all of your dreams come true and explore Disneyland Park which has over 8 themed lands which have a plethora of rollercoasters, games and disneyfied food! For those of you who aren’t down with Disney, we recommend visiting Universal studios as it is a must see when in LA.
DAY 5: BRIGHT LIGHTS BIG CITY
You’re probably feeling like more than a tourist right about now? You’ve visited iconic places, hiked to the Hollywood sign, and hit all the best food spots, but tonight you’ll be seeing the city at night. Yourism’s city bus tour will be exploring some of the hidden spots in the hills. You’ll also get a chance to see where some of your favourite celebrities live and maybe even spot one or two familiar faces.
DAY 6: THE HEART OF THE CITY
Today we’ll be heading to historical sights like Olvera street, home, and homage to the Mexican foundations of the city. Here you’ll be able to explore the beautiful town that is known to capture the heart of the city. Traditional Mexican markets, cuisine, and history all in one place!
DAY 7: HOME OF THE BLACK MAMBA
Today you’ll be able to explore some of the iconic hot spots independently! Yourism recommend soaking in all the hidden culture of LA and visiting popular spots like ‘The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, Little Tokyo, California Institute of Abnormal Arts, Petersen Automotive Museum and The Getty’
DAY 8: EXPLORE THE BEAUTIFUL DESCANSO GARDENS
To end your trip, we’ll be taking a stroll over to Descanso Gardens, where you’ll be able to soak in the summer breeze and smell beautiful summer flowers. Descanso Gardens is a 150-acre botanical garden located in La Cañada Flintridge, so after they’ll be time for exploring the area and having a late lunch or dinner.
