DISCOVER BUDAPEST
This central European was once named the “Queen of the Danube”. Budapest has a magnificent natural setting and is known to be rich in culture deriving from both the Romans and the Celtics. The capital is one of the fastest-growing urban economies in Europe. Coupled with its flamboyant architecture and fantastic nightlife makes it a city to visit.
Your Itinerary
DAY 1: TAKE A BATH
We’ll be going over to the Szechenyi Thermal Bath in the city Park. It is the largest medicinal bath in the whole of Europe. After enjoying the baths, it’s over to the axe-throwing. Axe- throwing is quite popular in Hungary. I mean, how many people can tell others they’ve thrown an axe? You could also find yourself in one of the many themed Escape Room. Hunger Games, Game of Thrones, Marvel. You choose.
DAY 2: REAL HERITAGE
They say you should ‘eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper’ and in Budapest, the saying goes. Once you’ve gained a few kilograms, prepare yourself for a tour of Hungary’s most famous landmarks. Explore the surrounding areas and inhale the atmosphere. Visit one of the many landmarks that have been granted UNESCO World Heritage Site status. From the Buda castle to St. Stephen’s Basilica there is so much to see. Become engrossed in European beauty. Late afternoon can be spent on a market tour which includes wine tasting for all our alcohol lovers.
DAY 3: THE RIVER WAS BEAUTIFUL AND WISE
If you’re more reserved and don’t like too much action, then take a trip down to one of the world’s most famous rivers, The Danube. The Danube is Europe’s second-longest river and has a very significant history. The river itself flows through 10 countries! The river is home to many small and large cruises. Hop on and sail the night away as you look across to the Hungarian landscape.
DAY 4: YOURISM EATS
This sommelier-led tasting experience features 5 fine Hungarian wines paired with some of the country’s best artisan cheese and charcuterie. There is no better combination than good wine and cheese – this tasting brings the two together.
